We’ve stayed here twice - location is perfect for going to the Flying Armidillo disc golf course - close enough to great restaurants in San Marcos but out away from everything - very quiet and the porch is a great hangout. Bridgette’s blueberry bread is soooo yummy - she adds a lot of nice touches, flexible checkout was greatly appreciated- excellent host - stay here - you’ll enjoy it!

My family (4 adults) stayed at the Tree Haus for a week, and we didn't want to leave. The surroundings are absolutely beautiful and so peaceful. Bridget was out of town when we checked in, so Tawni welcomed us into the space, gave local recommendations, and answered any questions we threw at her. The space may be on the small side for four adults, but it is very clean and feels like home. Drinking coffee out of hand-made mugs while birdwatching on the deck was a beautiful way to start each morning - and not to mention the delicious blueberry banana bread Bridget had left for us! We also felt very welcome at the Eye of the Dog Art Center next door when we popped over for an event they were having during our stay. The Tree Haus feels secluded, but you are less than 15 minutes from downtown San Marcos which made getting groceries and exploring the town very convenient. Highly recommend the Tree Haus if you are looking for a slice of nature and art close to San Marcos!

Excellent accueil! Superbe logement, très tranquille. La cuisine la plus fonctionnelle jamais vu dans un Airbnb. Et que dire des assiettes, bols verres et tasses fait à la main? Une merveille! Wow!

The setting was lovely. I was raised in the country so staying out of the hustle and bustle was great. I loved opening the windows at night and letting nature keep us comfortable.
