Enjoy silent days and nights, catch and make your own food, make your own firewood and do bush-craft. It's set for an adventure! As an extra thing to do, you can rent a toolbox containing tools for woodworking. It is also books in the box that show how to make simple projects from fresh wood, such as spatulas, spoons and kuksas. Search for #rosenholmen( gripen.gard) on Insta. This is a very special place! It is 15 min rowing from the Gripavika, the landing at the farm. You must know how to row, to stay at Rosenholmen. I have a large collection of life vests. It should be vests for everybody in the old sawmill by the lake.. It is necessary that you read the house rules before you book. It is some very important information there, who I need you to know. At the island you can have a bonfire outside, and also the tepee has a wood burning stove, where you can cook meals. At the island you will find a lot of things you need for surviving in the wild. Boat, life vests, beds, blankets, towels, pots and pans, cutlery, a wood burning stove, firewood, ax, saw, and so on. I set the teepee up for four guests, but it is possible to add more bedding if needed. I need to know in good time, and it will cost extra. For rainy days, or just for fun, I have a toolbox with wood carving tools for rent , so you can produce you own stuff from the forest, like a kuksa (cup made from wood), spoons, handles, or whatever you want and are able to do. It contains also books about things to make. This toolbox give you the opportunity to have an extra interesting stay at the island. Important: The box contains valuable tools, so you have to bring it from my farm, and take it back when you leave. It is you, and the wilderness! From summer you can pick berries, and mushrooms. It is a lot in the forest around the lake, and also at Roseholmen.
