Great place in a beautiful peaceful setting! Great host who is very friendly and accommodating. Wanted to make sure we had a great stay. Highly recommend.

The property is just like the photos very homely, clean and well equipped. The pros- very attentive, friendly and helpful owner. The property was spotlessly clean. Both beds were very comfortable with high-quality bedlinen. Lots of grounds to explore, including a wooded area, extremely large area for walking the dogs, tennis court, and even a vegetable patch which we were free to take vegetables from. There are also lots of fruit trees dotted around the area. Lots of essentials were provided i.e. salt, cooking oil, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hand soap etc. The cons- the Wi-Fi connection is very patchy. It is fine for general use, but if you are planning to work from this property it would not be sufficient. It is the price you pay for total seclusion. There could be more storage for food in the kitchen. If you were planning a long stay here the lack of food storage in the kitchen would be a problem. All in all we had a wonderful stay, and would recommend this property.

We had a wonderful relaxing stay at The Cowshed. It’s in a very peaceful location which is what we wanted and everything was perfect for us.

The house was lovely and set in beautiful gardens and land, which were great to explore. Annabelle was extremely helpful and welcoming, and she was quick to respond to any questions we had. We had a wonderful stay and unequivocally recommend the house to others.

We had the best week away at Charles's place. The barn is beautiful, bright, and large. It's situated right in front of a huge field we walked around every day. Charles was away but his daughter Annabelle (and her dogs Eddie and Pepper) gave us the warmest welcome and even lent us some Wellies. There were also plenty of board games and also some Tennis rackets for a court on the grounds. Both bedrooms are ensuite and spacious. There's also an office room upstairs which had reliable wifi. We will definitely stay again!
