We had an awesome stay with Kathye and John for the month of March 2022. The house. The hot tub. The views. It's a great spot. The hot tub is outside on a private deck and the house comes with your own washer and dryer which was very handy for a month long ski trip. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to cook otherwise there are plenty of food/grocery options right in town. It's a pretty ideal location too. Copper, Brek, A Basin, Vail, Steamboat, Winter Park and more are all right there. Would I stay again? Yes.

We had such a wonderful time at the Hillside Hideaway! The VIEWS are amazing! I must have taken the same photo of those mountains multiple times a day—it's truly breathtaking. The house is what you expect through the listing and agree with other reviewers that it's most comfortable for parties of 2 (especially if working remote). However, we did have family over from Denver during President's Day Weekend and we didn't feel on top of one another. Great location to all of the mountains from ABasin to Vail/Beaver Creek. But most importantly, Kathye and John were the most wonderful hosts. They're responsive, but also give you your privacy. They can also be great company when you need. We will definitely be back, perhaps the Summer time!

Kathye and John’s place is fantastic and exactly what we needed to getaway from North Carolina working remote! The views from the hot tub at night were so beautiful. We stayed here skiing for 13 days and did not want to leave. The place is beautifully decorated and the king sized bed is so insanely comfortable. I highly recommend this place to anyone coming to the Silverthorne area for any reason - being 20-30 min from any of our favorite ski resorts were a huge plus! I can’t wait to return here again next season. Thank you for everything! This was the best airbnb experience we have ever had and we are so grateful to have come and met you!
