The Mountain Story B&B is a cozy wooden cottage located at a remote village called Chachogi, 4 kms from Naggar, Manali. With magnificent aerial views of the Kullu Manali Valley, we offer fresh home cooked meals and a complete escape from the world. You won’t want to leave this beautiful, one-of-a-kind place.
Nestled amidst the serene beauty of the mountains and surrounded by apple orchards, this place is truly a hidden gem. The room was not just comfortable but also offered breathtaking views of the majestic mountains. Srijan, the host, was so proactive and helpful with all my questions, making sure everything was perfect from the moment I booked till I arrived. Her attention to detail really made my stay special. The culinary experience at this place was exceptional, thanks to Mrigank, who prepared delicious meals that tantalized my taste buds. Mrigank also doubled as a fantastic guide, showing me around the village and unveiling stunning landscapes that left me in awe. Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed by Lata Ji, whose kindness and warmth made me feel right at home. The entire village exudes a sense of hospitality, with everyone around being incredibly helpful and friendly. I recommend this destination to anyone seeking a serene getaway surrounded by the beauty of nature.
The whole experience was sublime. Initially we were concerned about reaching at night, because there was off-roadiing involved and we also had a little kid with us. We managed to reach the property at around 2039 hrs in the night. However, Mrigank (Palu ji) was in constant touch with us, from Naggar castle onwards, directing us all the way up till we reached the property. He was prompt in understanding our requirements and he proactively managed to get milk for the baby and food for us in time. In the morning, the view was breathtaking, surrounded by the valleys and snow top mountains with apple orchards around. The uphill drive was worth it! We hiked down the next day till Roerich museum and then Palu ji guided us to visit Jana waterfalls and arranged for "Dham" thaali. There was also this tasty Trout fish from the shack kitchen near the stream. There is an open glass house terrace where the local family also stays and they were cheerful and welcoming people. Srijan and Palu -thankYou
