Upstairs is a family bedroom, with a queen size bed and two twin beds. Ideal for individuals, couples, families, and friends seeking a private getaway. The house has large windows throughout offering wonderful views all year round. A wrap around deck offers privacy for guests and a quiet place to relax. Centrally located in Selkirk, The Carriage House is only a 45 minute drive to downtown Winnipeg. During the summer there are plenty of nearby family friendly places to visit. It is just a 15 minute drive to Birds Hill Park which has a beach and swimming lake, and 20 minutes to the nearest sandy beach (Patricia) on Lake Winnipeg. Selkirk itself has a wonderful park with an outside pool during July and August. During winter there are cross country ski trails and snowshoeing available from the back door on the golf course and also at Birds Hill Park.
