Very kind, responsive and accommodating host of a very clean, comfortable and clutter free basement unit. We booked the apartment at a very short notice but Kelly’s responsive interaction kept everything going smoothly. Apartment had everything set neatly, a little kitchen corner was much appreciated. Thank you Kelly and Josiah for being wonderful hosts.

This place is perfect if you’re not bothered by noise. I was under the impression that quiet time applied to the entire house. It doesn’t. She lives there not tenants, I don’t know why she didn’t just say that. You can hear clear conversations from upstairs, her kids running in the house and someone decided to vacuum at 10:30p. I did message close to 11p and asked if quiet time applied to only us and she replied “no” and apologized. This was every night that quiet time was never met. The pathway to the first gate is dark, the sensor does not turn on until you’re almost halfway in unless she leaves the front lights on (she did the first night). Be careful going to the second gate, due to the rocks being unsettled it’s a rocky walk we slid every time going in. Once in there’s another unmaintained pathway that is dark. If you’re cold there’s space heaters, fireplace or she can control the heat from upstairs. This house is for a last minute stay.

Great experience! Giving this place 5 stars since the description of the place was clear and advertised true. We appreciated a lower cost that included lower cleaning fees which ultimately led my family to staying here. We didn't mind the noise from above as this was expected and described for this stay, but the fire alarm did go off once and we could hear conversation/singing through the ceiling. Again we didn't mind this, but it does come with staying in a home that has a family living above you. We had complete privacy and never interacted with the family which I appreciated for a private getaway stay. The walkway to entrance door was described and known prior to staying. Slightly difficult to walk on top of stones placed on a slope but tolerable for our short stay and multiple in and outs of the house. Easy to slip on though. Not wheelchair or stroller accessible! Very clean. Appreciated having the common area outside the bedrooms while my kids were sleeping. Mountain views too!
