Wonderful stay. Mani went out of his way to meet me at a coffee shop at the stupa, which is very near as I had gone to the wrong Boudha Inn. I extended by a day as I was ill. The staff was incredibly kind, friendly and smiling and the room was spacious and clean. Thanks to all for a great stay.

I had a wonderful stay at the Boudha Inn! The staff are very friendly and welcoming. I slept pretty well and it was nice and quiet at night compared to other places I’ve stayed. The complementary Breakfast is amazing! I recommend the banana pancake. The waiter is super friendly and accommodating. Check in and checkout was pretty smooth. The owners son gave us a ride to the airport and he was ver pleasant to talk to, he is very knowledgeable about Nepal’s history/culture. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this place to all.

I arrived in a very bad mood having traveled for many hours and I had to apologise for my bad behaviour towards the staff who were not at fault in any way. The reception staff were very understanding and tried their best to help calm my bad attitude, which they managed to do. So I thank them all for that. The place was great with all that we needed provided without any fuss or complaint. The room was clean, tidy and just what we needed. Outside the hotel Kathmandu is very busy, noisy and polluted which was a disappointment, but this is not the hotel's fault. When we leave Nepal we will be going back to the Boudha inn before we catch our flight. We can recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Kathmandu.

Very friendly staff working at this hotel; everyone there was incredibly eager to assist us with our requests and this helped us to feel at home. The room was spacious, wifi was good and bed comfortable. Perfect location for short walk to the stupa and thanks to the hotel for the restaurant recommendation- la casita was an amazing place for dinner.

I spent a month at the Boudha Inn whilst working at a nearby hospital. The hotel staff were happy to pick me up from the airport for just $10 USD, and the check in process was smooth as I had already paid through Air BnB. Breakfast was included in my stay, which exceeded my expectations. There were several options to choose from, including home made brown bread, porridge, eggs, muesli and yoghurt, pancakes. I always left feeling very satisfied! Drinks included for breakfast are tea or instant coffee with creamer. The rooms were clean, and despite the lack of heating (which they had advertised as having, and was a factor in me choosing the hotel), the showers were usually lovely and warm so that was a good way to warm up in the cold bedroom. The towels were large and warm, and were replaced whenever I asked. Unfortunately, despite receiving a confirmation email over 6 weeks in advance saying the best deluxe room with the best view had been reserved for me, I was placed in a room which certainly was significantly smaller than the one pictured, and there was definitely no space for yoga or meditation, which is why I paid for a larger room. It turns out they had given my room to another guest, and even after the other guest left, they didn't offer for me to change rooms until I asked a few days before I left. When I asked why, I was disappointed to hear that they "thought I was happy in the smaller room". Guests should not have to complain before getting what they paid for though. However, the manager Mani was understanding of my frustration, and didn't charge extra for my partner to come and stay for the last 2 nights, which I am grateful for. They also promptly replaced the lock on my bedroom door when I told them it didn't lock. Overall, I would give the Boudha Inn 4 stars, with the only factor preventing me from giving a 5 star rating being the fact I was not given the room I paid for.
