Built in 2002, the layout is based on the Europen round house style. It is ideal for groups or family gatherings. The house centers on a large two-story atrium for gathering. Enjoy the acoustics with a vintage record player (and Bluetooth speaker) and a handful of classic records on hand (Frank Sinatra and Marvin Gay). Settle into the cozy living room with a fireplace, comfy Love Sac couch (modular, so it can also be a bed) 70, 70-inch TV, and a gorgeous view of the East TN countryside. And a POOL! Yes, one of the fun features of Hickory Hill is its modest-sized indoor pool. Not a lap pool by any stretch of the imagination but perfect for young kids to play in (just 4 feet in depth), or a relaxing dip after a long day on the trout stream or hiking trail. We've added a fun basketball hoop and some pool toys. The pool is open year-round. There are three life jackets for small children on site. Bedrooms: -The master bedroom comes with a queen bed, a fireplace, a Jacuzzi tub, a TV, and a private powder room. -The second (green) room has a queen bed and a dedicated workspace with a desk next to a window overlooking the woods. -The "Bunk room" (third bedroom) is designed as a playroom/bedroom. There is a triple bunk (trundle) bed with two twins and a full-size bed for sleeping. The futon folds out for a comfy full-size bed (there are two additional air mattresses - full-size and pack-n-play if needed). The Bunk room also has a 50 inch TV equip with ROKU and a swing chair. The kitchen is a great place to gather, cook amazing meals, mix a cocktail, or brew that hot cup of coffee for an early morning sit on the wrap-around porch. Comes with all standard kitchen appliances and kitchenware. Includes toaster, toaster oven, Kureg, french press, standard coffee maker, waffle maker and blender. A grill and grill utilizes are available on site. Things to enjoy around the house. -Of course, take a dip in the pool or soak in the jacuzzi. -There are 3 ROKU-equipped TVs for a movie night or catching up on your favorite show (ROKU allows you to log into your streaming platforms for your stay, and it will automatically log you out when you check out). - There are games and puzzles in the atrium dresser. - Feel free to explore the 7 acres; though much of it is on hills, there are still some beautiful wooded areas to explore. A map of the property lines will be provided for you. - There is a fire pit and chairs out front to enjoy and evening around the fire and enjoy the sunset.
