We love the house, so many nice decor touches. Megalochori was a peaceful oasis as a place to stay. We had a car, but if you want there is a bus stop at the top of the village by the bakery. Chrisoula is a SuperHost in my opinion! Her recommendations are excellent! If you have a car ask her about the “hidden gem”!! If anything the house is prettier and more spacious than the photos show. Enjoy your stay!

Note: due to a technical problem at the initial property, our host upgraded us to another. This is a review is for Casa Grande. ************ Chrisoula is a profession and welcoming host. The casa grande house had 3 independent bedrooms, + an extra space with a double bed and 3 bathrooms. The bedrooms are large (including a private suite with a separate entrance), the common area inside (lounge/kitchen) was just a bit small to seat all together for meals. But there is space outside near the jacuzzi. Everything was neat on arrival with plenty of great amenities (soap, shampoo, conditioner and a very generous welcome basket with everything needed for breakfast!). Megalochori is a lovely village, very central and more peaceful than the hustling (yet charming) Oia or Fira. The house is 5-10 minutes walk downhill the parking. Early April most restaurants are closed but we could enjoy the island with fewer crowds! We had a lovely stay and highly recommend Chrisoula!
