This beautiful casita is on a 2.5-acre regenerative urban community homestead with gardens, orchards, and chickens. It is less than a 10 minute drive from downtown, one block from a fantastic wild arroyo hiking trail, one block from a bike path, and two blocks from the train line to Albuquerque and downtown Santa Fe. It has radiant floor heating, skylights, a shared back patio with a dining table, a kiva fireplace, washer & dryer, and organic bedding. Eggs from the chickens are in the fridge! Beautiful walled gardens and space to roam around.

The casita was fabulous (spacious, airy) and part of a lovely compound where Maggie, Kai & co. are raising chickens and growing vegetables. They were both super sweet and generous with their recommendations (and their fresh chicken eggs!) Would recommend to anyone. It’s peaceful and quiet but close to everything (there’s also a grocery store - Albertson’s - in walking distance which is a nice bonus.

There is plenty of parking at the house, and the rail runner train line from Albuquerque is two blocks away which can also take you to downtown Santa Fe.
