Serenity cottage is an absolute gem. The house is equipped with everything you could possibly need or want. The beds are extremely comfortable, with great linen. The garden is beautiful and we really enjoyed swimming in the pool, sitting on the deck and strolling around the village. Gordon was an outstanding host, communicating with us all the way, and paying attention to the little touches that made us feel very welcome. A visit is highly, highly recommended!

Gordon is very friendly and helpful. The cottage is quiet and really comfortable . The local reserve has lots of walking options with a dam that the dogs loved. There are plenty of good local food options. Just take note of opening and closing times. The locally made pizza and the ice cream are wonderful. This is a wonderful escape from the city to regroup and slow down.

As regular visitors to McGregor, we've stayed in many of the self catering (plus dog friendly) cottages that have been available over the years. We are delighted to have now found Serenity cottage - what a gem! It ticks all the boxes for us - such a comfortable home from home. And our dogs approve too! We had super hot weather, so the air-conditioning, fans, deep verandah and swimming pool were very appreciated. We're looking forward to experiencing the fireplace when we come back in winter time! Gordon is an amazing and welcoming host. Such a change from the usual key safe and being left to find your own way around. And the thoughtful little extras - flowers, chocolate, milk in the fridge etc - just topped it all. Thank you!
