We designed it for entertaining and family. It easily holds a large group, family or two, allowing enough space and privacy to really enjoy your stay. The central living area is the heart of the home and is designed for entertainment; with a large open living area, powder room, kitchen, and dining. Keep toasty warm with underfloor heating in winter and 2 open fires or air-conditioning in summer. Both kitchen and dining areas open out through stacking sliders to large covered louver areas. One positioned perfectly for views over the pool and farm. The other hosting a warm outdoor fire, bbq, and tv with sky. Both have remote-controlled wind shelter and heaters. Fire wood will be available for you to light the open fires. A pizza night or 2 could definitely be on the menu. The west wing has 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The bedrooms are all sunny and spacious with plenty of room for your bags. They all open out onto the deck, with beautiful views, and have floor to ceiling blackout curtains and ducted air-conditioning. The east wing hosts the master bedroom over looking our farm, duck pond, and beautiful sunrises. The master also has its own en-suite with a heated bidet and tiled double row showers, and air conditioning unit. The second lounge (toy room, smart TV, extra bedroom) is between the kitchen and master and can be closed off for privacy. The carport houses bikes and table tennis and takes you through to the gym. We are pet friendly and have a dog bed and bowl ready for your fur baby. We prefer outside only but happy to consider your circumstance. However, they must be stock and cat proof to be on our property. We have a shared driveway with amazing neighbors and lovely co-hosts Em and Vicki who will help in the event we can not. THINGS TO DO Keep the kids entertained with the; pool, spa, games of tennis on the concrete court, trampoline, play-fort slide and swings, dolls house, toy room, board games, or plenty of room to play a family game of touch rugby or cricket. Come October.. our local De La Terre Winery offers up a lovely range of wines and foods, head on down for lunch, and a wine tasting in the weekend. They are also open extra hours through the summer holidays and silly period. 10 min away. Indulge in the amazingly good Silky Oaks Chocolate factory. 14min away. Wine and dine choosing from 11 or more different wineries and breweries within “The Bridge Pa Triangle / Gimblet Gravels Wineries ” book a ‘on yer bike’ winery tour in this area which is only 15 min away. Whole day fun at Splash Planet (seasonal) Bush walks and views up Te Mata Peak, or Dolbel Hill. What about a stroll around our local Hb Farmers Market on Sundays.
