Relax with the family or your best girlfriends at this comfortable, fully furnished home. The house is on a corner lot in a quiet neighborhood where city meets country. The newly renovated main level boasts a bright kitchen with all the things one needs to prepare meals in a functional, well stocked space that has vast butcher block countertops. The 3 bedrooms each bear the theme of local landscape.......Woodland, Farmland & Island. Choose to sleep in the space that makes you most happy. Our home is newly updated and ready to host you! *The kitchen has all new appliances, countertops, a pass thru bar and is well stocked with dish ware, cookware, utensils, small appliances and so much more! *The living room space is comfortable and ready for lively conversation. *There is a dining area with a table that can seat up to 8 when fully extended. *There is a coffee/tea bar with a K-Pod coffee maker, Electric kettle and all of the supplies needed to make yourself a wake-up drink. *The house is listed to accommodate 6 people comfortably. Up to 8 people are OK with pre-approval. There will be an extra fee for the two additional people. Please, message about that prior to booking. *There is a front and back yard for being outside. The property is not fully fenced and dogs will need to be leashed or under command. The backyard is currently recovering from renovation impacts as well as winter so it is currently a little soft and wet. Other important notes: Keyless entry at main entrance. The property requires use of stairs. No A/C available. Smoking ONLY allowed outside and please dispose of your garbage. We have a Ring Doorbell with an exterior security camera facing the front outdoor entry. The camera actively records video when motion is detected or when the Ring doorbell button is pressed.

Christine’s place was fantastic and fit what we needed!! Loved the location, the comfy beds, the cleanliness, the ping pong table,and the kitchen had everything we needed! We’ll definitely come back if she’ll have us again! Thank you for accommodating us Christine! ❤️
Comfortably situated in a quiet neighbourhood, but in close proximity to Mount Vernon amenities. There was ample space and each room was set up with attention to detail. There were very comfortable beds and linen. The house was spotless. Things were easy to find, and our group was not wanting for anything. The thoughtful touches made everyone feel at home. Christine was helpful with her communication and was very timely with responses. It was helpful to read comments and recommendations from other guests in the guest book and there were helpful resources. We would definitely book this space next we visit because of the three bedrooms with comfortable and quiet rooms and a fully equipped kitchen. We were thrilled that we could use the laundry facilities. Would highly recommend this listing if you want comfort, quiet, and to have a home away from home.
A wonderful place to stay. It was a pleasure being one of the first people to enjoy this space. It was beautifully decorated and plenty of dishes so we could have silverware for a day’s worth of meals. I would use this location again.
Definitely will stay again when in town. Loved it. My son loved the ping pong table, my daughters liked the little faces and funny signs throughout the house, and my hubby loved the quietness of the neighborhood. Thx again
Christine has thought of pretty much everything a renter would need. She has lots of thoughtful touches. Her house is comfortable and welcoming, and she was a great host to work with. We would have been content to just hang out at the house, but the tulips were waiting for us! :) We had everything we needed for a very pleasant trip.

There is a Haggen Grocery store within 5 minutes of the home (1.6 miles) and a gas station/convenience store with a delightful Mexican Taqueria inside about a half mile away.
A 2 minute drive or 15 minute walk will get you to Bakerview Park. This 40-acre park includes 4 little league fields, 3 soccer fields, 4 basketball courts, 2 sand volleyball courts, a disc golf course, a skate park, outdoor barbecues, children’s playground, picnic areas, public restrooms, a concession stand, a dog park (including a designated small dog area), a 22,000 square foot YMCA indoor recreation center, and a BMX bike track. This park has something for the whole family! To get there on foot or bike there is a 2.5 mile city trail with an entrance just down the hill off of Waugh rd. The Kulshan trail is a multi use paved trail that extends from Waugh Road past Bakerview Park to Lion's Park east. This trail passes by several schools, salmon rearing ponds and natural areas. Bicycle commuters, walkers, joggers, and skaters enjoy this shared use trail.
Once in Mount Vernon you are at the heart of vast opportunities in recreation, shopping, outdoor adventures, day trips, road trips and relaxing.
