We have been to Paris many times. Usually staying in either the 8th or 6th arr. They are the where many of the tourist attractions are. We wanted to be a little away from all of the tourists. The 17th is really a gem. It's family oriented. There are many schools and we watched parent drop off and pick up as we walked. Excellent restaurants in walking distance. Make reservations at Mamma Primi downstairs or be prepared to wait. But either way it's worth it. Franprix market across the street. Monoprix a short walk away. Depending where you are going by Metro there is a stop at the end of the block. And another about a 10 minute walk away. A slightly longer walk takes you to Gare St. Lazare where you can grab metro to anywhere in Paris or trains to other parts of France. The apartment is a traditional Paris apartment. Only much larger than most. Kitchen and bathroom are new. Outlets everywhere. It was a pleasure staying there. And we are going back ASAP!

I came to Paris for a work trip and stayed at 4 locations while in the city across 3 weeks. Matthieu’s apartment was the best. Comfortable Apartment ✔️ Spacious Apartment ✔️ Safe ✔️ Walkable ✔️ Local Gym ✔️ Local Barber Shop ✔️ Grocery Store ✔️ Great restaurants ✔️ Metro Station ✔️ Great Host ❤️ Looking forward to staying at this location for my next trip.

I can't say enough great about this apartment. Many Airbnb's feel straight out of an IKEA catalog (which isn't always a bad thing), but this apartment had so much character - beautiful old wooden floors, plaster rosettes on the ceiling, mid-century modern furniture, a small terrace with seating, and so many small personal touches, a curated collection of books to read, much needed kitchen items - salt/pepper, olive oil, vinegar, coffee, tea and vases of dried flowers and scented candles. The apartment even has convenient adapters that allow charging directly via USB. While I never personally met Matthieu, he was super responsive, helpful, and very friendly. The location is also excellent - steps from the metro, RER, a supermarket, restaurants, cafes, boutiques and a great weekend market. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and have already recommended to friends.

We were staying at Matthieu’s place for almost 2 weeks and it has been a great experience. The place is spacious, decorated simple but with styles. You will find everything you need since all the details have been prepared thoughtfully. They have good balcony that you can sit and enjoy your sip of coffee and it’s very chilling. Best location in a very nice neighborhood with many great restaurants and shops. Walking distance to almost everything and easy access to train, metro, parking… Matthieu is a great and attentive host, very responsive and kind. Strongly recommended. Everyone will feel like home in Matthieu’s place.
