Dive into the history of this unique and memorable place. Dolphin Cottage in Charlestown sleeps 6 guests and one lucky Dog. Dolphin is tucked away in a quiet corner of the historic village of Charlestown. A stone's throw from the harbour and its two beaches, this gorgeous Grade II listed barn conversion will provide all you need for your perfect family holiday or a get-away with friends. This wonderful barn is a Jewel in the crown, as whilst you will be nestled within beautiful Cornish Countryside, you also have less than a minute's walk to the Harbour, beaches and sea plus the many restaurants, shops, pubs and coffee houses. You really do have the best of everything when staying here. Dolphin Cottage is on the end of what was the original cattle barn when it was a working farm. It is full of character and quirky spaces making it perfect for family time, breaks with friends or just a bit of downtime and a reset. It sleeps 6 guests in 3 bedrooms, which consists of Two Twin rooms and One Double. There is a family bathroom with bath and step-over shower and the ground floor double bedroom has an ensuite. At the far end of the barn leading off the kitchen/diner is a huge bright and spacious conservatory with additional dining space. The views from the conservatory look out across the side and rear gardens giving the feeling you are outside but with full privacy for any special occasion you may be looking to celebrate whilst here. Next door is Seagull Cottage, an additional holiday let also available to hire. Together they accommodate 12 guests. Seagull is also listed on AirBnB.
Tranquil and Quiet... total Coastal Bliss.
Charlestown is a small, friendly Harbour Village with approx 60 dwellings that surround the Harbour.
The only noise you'll hear will be the happy Seagulls, the odd raindrop depending on the weather and when near the beach you'll hear the sound of the tide.

RESTAURANTS, PUBS, BARS & SHOPS
You can relax and cook to your heart's content in Seagull Cottage or choose to dine out at one of the many restaurants, pubs and coffee shops that Charlestown has to offer and it's all on your doorstep, what more could you wish for!
You will be spoilt for choice for the quality local produce, home cooked delicious menus and that welcoming ambience that Cornwall is known and loved for.
Each eatery is independently owned and run, providing a totally different experience in each one so you can eat out everyday and receive all the goodness that Charlestown has to offer.
Short & Strong and Charlies coffee shops serve local coffee and the most incredible cakes, buns & brunches. The Tallships Creamery spoils us rotten with their locally made ice-cream, sorbets and fudge with gluten and dairy free options. Then there's the Wine Store, The Knuckle and the Rum Sailor all with their own quirky locations and doing a fantastic job of boosting morale from lunchtime through to closing time.
If you are looking for a really good traditional pub, you have two to choose from here - The Rashleigh Arms in the village centre and the Pier House Hotel located right on the harbour.

Dr Who battled Space Pirates here in 2011 and The Three Musketeers starring Charlie Sheen, Keifer Sutherland and Chris O'Donnell used the Galleon Tall Ship which was once moored here.
We can't leave Mel Gibson out with his incredible 16th Century Mexican Homeland scene in the film Apocalypto and finally Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham-Carter sailed away from here on the 2010 adaptation of Alice in Wonderland.
