When we arrived we were taken upstairs and shown our ensuite room and shared kitchen/living room. Didn’t remember booking a shared space but it was clean and acceptable for 1 night. Went to FAC around the corner and we came back only to find we couldn’t open the door with the key as the people staying in the other room locked it from inside. We were stuck outside for 3 hours asking the owner to call a locksmith. They offered us to sleep in the downstairs unit where an elderly woman was staying but there was no way we were going to let her sleep on the couch. After 1 night we were happy to go back to Varadero where I managed to go back online only to find we booked the entire downstairs flat, not a shared space upstairs. I messaged the owner asking why they didn’t give us the correct apartment but we never heard back!

Luis speaks fluent English and the location is perfect for us. The style of the house brought me back to my childhood every now and then. Such a sweet place !

Nice large flat, well equipped for 4-5 people, a little hidden at the edge of the Vedado, and at few steps from FAC, the Factory of the Cuban Art (Fábrica del Arte Cubano), one of the most interesting places in La Habana. Luis Orlando is a very good host, friendly and willing to help. It was very nice staying there, although it was only for one night

Good location. We grateful for Luis. It was simple to be in touch because he has telephone at this apartment. Also Luis helped for one of us to order a taxi. Thank you Luis for your kindness!
