Just a short walk from the center of Panama City, you will find the Metropolitan Natural Park. It covers 232 hectares and is the only wildlife reserve in the city. It is full of beauty. It is home to 227 species of birds, 45 species of mammals, 14 species of amphibians and 36 types of snakes. There are walking trails with beautiful views of the city.
A 20-minute drive from Panama City, birdwatchers can take a stroll along the Pipeline Trail. It passes through the heart of the Soberania National Park and you can observe the diversity of birds that abound in the area. The Pipeline Trail is home to more than 500 species and is internationally recognised as a world-class birding spot.

Panama City is home to Tocumen International Airport. This is the gateway to the country for international travelers. Once here, Panama's transport system includes domestic flights, buses, ferries, private transport and taxis. It's easy to get around the city, the province and the entire country. We recommend Uber as it is the easiest way to get where you want to go.
