**SCAM ALERT** Sadly for my first ever experience with AirBnB - Jason let me down and has made me consider against using it. He was misleading, very slow to respond after the messages showed as read knowing we were arriving early and needed some communication on confirmation of accomodation. He made me pay $20 to ‘hold’ the apartment only to change the dates to a shorter stay and still request the full amount. I asked him to return the dates to our original request and I’d be happy to pay and he refused twice saying wouldn’t change the dates until payment. I gave the previous review’s benefit of the doubt but should have seen the red flags. He won’t return my $20 I’ve screen shot the messages and have taken it up with AirBnB as sadly Jason you have given the great hosts a bad name. We stayed with Avante homes in the end and they were amazing and restored my confidence.

After paying the payment, the landlord asked me to pay a deposit of 199 before proceeding to the next step... and when I checked in, I was provided with a house that was different from the actual one... It's been three days since check-out and I asked him about the deposit but he didn't reply....
