Ute and Mario are much more than just hosts! We had a wonderful time and are so glad to meet such kind, warm and welcoming people. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable and the farm is beautiful. We highly recommend!

We were staying only for 3 days but wished we could have stayed longer. Ute and Mario were more than accomodating. We expressed interest in tasting their own brand of olive oil, naively we thought it would be a simple affair. Much to our suprise Mario took time out of his day and treated us to an explanation of how their olives are grown, where they are sourced and what makes good olive oil (and how to taste the difference). Every morning we got an amazing breakfast - especially the self-made cactus juice from locally grown cacti were always something we were looking forward to. If there's one regret, it would be that we didn't have nearly enough time to spend time with their donkeys. If you expect this to be a glamorous b&b with all the polish your are looking at the wrong listing. We didn't and were welcomed in someones home and made to feel welcomed. In the end, all I can say is that we are glad to have found this little gem and our vacation was the better for it! Grazie!

Our stay at Ute & Marios was one to remember forever. Such beautiful grounds they live on and truly some of the most genuine and hospitable hosts. The room had ample space and all the amenities needed, the bathroom with the skylight is truly wonderful. We also met all their gorgeous dogs and donkeys who were always keen for scratches and cuddles. They made it so easy for us and we're so accomodating to anything we needed, plus fantastic recommendations and a wealth of knowledge about the Puglia region. Every breakfast was made with love and reflecting of the region, something to look forward to every morning. We opted to do a cooking class with them which was a loving and passonate introduction to Pugliese cusine and got to try Marios sauce which I'll think about for the rest of my life. They are wonderful to talk to and even did us the blessing of eating with us. I'll rave about this stay to everyone I know and you would be blessed to stay here. Thankyou Ute & Mario!

Ute and Mario were wonderful and have a really special place. We had no trouble finding it, and communication was great. They were very helpful with recommendations. Breakfast was amazing. We only stayed two nights but would definitely come back.

For anyone travelling to Puglia region, Mario & Ute’s place is a must. We spent 2 nights at their farm which was the highlight of our 10 days in Puglia. Tucked away in a quiet little paradise, but a convenient drive to local centres and beaches. The bedroom and bathroom are lovely and perfectly clean. It is very peaceful, we slept so well and loved to hear Mario’s music playlist which set the tone for our relaxing stay. The breakfast is delicious. We were introduced to fresh figs & prickly pear juice from their garden. Mario’s special fried eggs were something else! We were lucky enough to have Mario and Ute prepare dinner for us and enjoy it with them and visiting family under the fig trees on our last night. This is the best seafood pasta we have ever tasted! Great conversation & incredible food. An after dinner visit from their four lovely dogs and even Luna the donkey only added to this experience that we will never forget. Be sure to add dinner to your stay. Their love for the land and seeing the work and passion they have put into growing and restoring this property over 14 years has left a lasting impression on us. We would love to return one day!
