Wyndham City is a tourist and family friendly region with activities and local attractions.
Parking.
In the daytime park on the same street side, outside the house.
At night for extra security park on the driveway and close the gate.

To use public transport will need a Myki card. Use the Myki app to manage it easily. If it’s a short trip less than 2 hours, touch on (first stop) and then touch off (last stop) or you may get charged a day fare.
Also get the PTV app to plan your journey, see travel routes, etc.
To go to Melbourne City, Geelong etc:
Parking is available at the train stations. Also at the shopping centres but it could be time limited. Our home is close to Hoppers Crossing station, 10 min walk, so you could just park outside our house on our side of the street, and walk to use the train.
The shops near the station have a laundromat, a few restaurants, and cafes. A bit further and next to the train station is a small shopping centre with a bigger laundromat, butcher, post office, chemist, hairdresser, cafes, restaurant and supermarkets.
To go to Pacific Werribee Shopping Center (Werribee Plaza) -our main large shopping centre/mall (lot more retail clothing etc, Aldi, Big W, Kmart etc stores):
1. About 30 mins walk.
2. Or take the public bus. Walk to Heaths Rd, then on your right, same street side, is the nearest bus stop. Take any bus going up, after a few stops you will be at the Plaza.
3. To return to our home: go to the public bus bays, Bay 2 and take route 166 bus (that says to Hoppers Crossing Station) and get off at the third stop - Mossfiel Reserve, with Medical Centre on the corner. From there a short walk to the home.
To go to local attractions such as Werribee Open Range Zoo, Wyndham Harbour or other by public transport buses consult the PTV app to plan your trip. Take any bus to the Plaza from Heaths Rd, then another bus will take you to these attractions.
