Wow! Susan went above and beyond! Her home is beautiful, so peaceful, and she had the home stocked with helpful items for arrival. All her correspondences were friendly and so helpful. She made sure we had all we needed from arrival to departure. She had cute fall decorations which added a warm personal touch to the home. Her home is on the beautiful trail that goes along the Portage - I would be happy just walking that every day! It was quiet and peaceful, but minutes from town and campus which was perfect!! I wish we would have had more time on this trip - would have loved talking to Susan more. I would highly recommend her place. So glad we found this little piece of heaven for this trip.

You can’t go wrong with Sue and the beautiful space she created with travelers in mind. My husband and I absolutely loved opening the shades to see the spectacular views and were able to come back in the evenings to a beautiful, relaxing, and peaceful place that felt like home…but better because someone else has taken care of everything! Sue goes above and beyond to make her guests feel welcome.

A beautiful and peaceful spot to rest and recharge!! The lake was serene with lovely sunrises, ducks, and even a few slow moving sailboats. It felt very private with its own entrance and sense of separateness, despite being attached to the main house. Sue was a superb host, providing over and above what we expected. In addition to being a great place to relax, this was a fantastic launching spot to see the Keweenaw Peninsula in its awesome Fall colors.
