What's nearby: Monsarrat Avenue is just a stone's throw from the heart of Waikiki and a short stroll from the world-famous Waikiki Beach (three-quarters of a mile west). You'll be just up the road from Kapahulu Avenue, which is lined with restaurants, shops, and grocery stores. Great location, near Waikiki but not too near if you like a quieter experience. The space is quite small but large enough for a couple or smaller family to feel comfortable. The space is clean and has been thoughtfully designed with many subtle nice touches to it. Our main issue was that it was very dark; not much sunlight gets in which is kind of a shame in Hawaii. And there’s no outside area. So it would work best for guests who plan to be on the beach all day and are essentially looking for a place to crash at night. There’s no provision for recycling which seems strange in 2022. If you want to recycle, you have to port your recycling over to a pick up area on Kapahulu st, which is what we did.

Great location first of all, completely walkable! The closest beach and a beach park are 15 min away walking. Waikiki beach is around the same distance, and walking to the beach bars is about 30 min, that is really great. The apartment is between several very good food spots for all times of the day, so getting food was never a problem. Great farmers market on Saturday in the walking distance, and Zoo and a nice playground are also really close. The apartment itself is not large, but with a very good layout, and felt very comfortable for the month that we stayed there. ACs are a bit loud, but cooled the apartment nicely. It has all the necessities there, but doesn’t have extras, like beach chairs, etc, that some Airbnb places have. The service is amazing, very responsive and very fast. We had a sink clogged, and a guy came to clean it in about 10 minutes after sending a message. The only downsides are the lack of outdoor space and dedicated parking, but those are not promised in the listing. The area around it feels a bit too urban with not a lot of greenery, but everything changes just with couple minutes of walking. On the street parking was definitely a nuisance, as there is not a lot of spots, and we sometimes had to park several blocks away. But most of the time we were able to find a spot quite close. Overnight parking is not an issue at all, but parking during the day could be. And if you don’t need a car and mostly enjoy Waikiki area, it’s not an issue at all.

Great house in a great location! The microwave broke while we were there and the owner got it replaced very quickly! Overall excellent!

This place is conveniently located close to diamond head. In a quiet neighborhood but close to every thing. Though not having a designated parking space, parking is easy to find in neighborhood. Not very sound proof though. For folks who are sensitive to noise this may not be a good choice.

Pricey, but great location, clean and had good internet. Street parking was a bit of a pain but it is ample in the area
