Dollar Point Palace Located on Lake Tahoe's north shore in the highly-coveted community of Dollar Point, this three-story 5BR/4.5BA home offers 3,311 square feet of luxe living space. This fabulous location is ideal for your getaway no matter the season! It's near parks, hiking trails, and a bike path -- perfect for warm-weather exploring. In the winter, Palisades Tahoe, Northstar, and Homewood are all within a 20-minute drive. Tahoe City is just minutes away with cafes, shops, and popular attractions. LIVING AREAS On the second floor, the main living area offers plush seating for the entire group. Cozy up next to the gas fireplace and watch the 55in smart TV. A second living area downstairs has a gas fireplace, 47in TV, and two couches. KITCHEN & DINING Making delicious meals is a dream in this chef's kitchen, complete with a full suite of high-end stainless steel appliances -- including two ovens and a six-burner Viking range. The roomy island and farmhouse table provide plenty of room for your whole group. A second kitchen downstairs offers additional cooking space and dining space. BEDROOMS & BATHS This three-story home sleeps up to ten guests across five bedrooms. The top floor is completely dedicated to the luxe master bedroom, equipped with a king bed, private balcony, and 42in TV. The spa-like en-suite has a large walk-in shower and jetted tub. On the first floor, two bedrooms each provide a queen bed, while a third bedroom has two twin beds. There are two bathrooms downstairs -- one offers a walk-in shower and one has a tub/shower combination. On the second floor, a fifth bedroom is equipped with a king bed, 37in smart TV, and an en-suite with a double vanity and tub/shower combination. A half bath is located on the second floor for added convenience. OUTDOOR AREA On the second floor, sliding glass doors open to a spacious deck. Fire up the grill and enjoy a tasty meal amid the pines. EXTRA AMENITIES & MORE DETAILS Complimentary Wi-Fi, a washer/dryer, and driveway parking for four cars are provided. Although this home is not equipped with air conditioning, it is rarely needed with Tahoe City's mild summer weather. Outdoor wood-burning fires and charcoal grills are prohibited per local ordinances. THE LOCATION In winter, you'll relish having all of North Lake Tahoe's premier ski areas within a 20-minute drive. Tahoe City is about 3 miles away and provides cafes, shops, and local attractions. No dog(s) are welcome in this home. No other animals are allowed without specific Vacasa approval. <br/>Parking notes: No parking available. <br/>Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a damage waiver fee which covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.
Overall great home and location, especially for a large family/group! Only wish we could have had the option to extend our check out time as 10 am was a bit early.
We rented this house with two other families. We had a great week staying here. One thing to note is the private beach near the house is part of a neighborhood association and you are only allowed 8 guests even though the house holds 10. So that was a bit difficult. But the public beach isn’t far away. The kitchen is amazing with everything you need to make great meals. We had a fabulous time at this house! Would return again for sure!
