Sip your morning coffee in front of the outdoor fireplace, spend afternoons reading on the expansive deck or curled up by one of the fireplaces indoors, and test your skills on the pool table in the game room (complete with a wet bar) each evening. <b>WHAT’S NEARBY</b> Offering incredible touches of natural wood and stone throughout, this home sits five miles east of McCaysville and 11 miles north of downtown Blue Ridge. While you're in Blue Ridge, you can enjoy some tasty Southern cuisine, shop at a few boutiques, and take a ride along the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway. Neighboring Chattahoochee National Forest is home to world-class hiking through the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. You'll also be only 10 miles north of the Lake Blue Ridge Marina if you want to spend a day out on the water. <b>THINGS TO KNOW</b> No dog(s) are welcome in this home. A great property with commanding views of the mountains, but needing some attention to details (some lights/outlets not working, outdoor furniture on deck needing some work, pool cues needing repair. A little high-priced for the value of the experience we received.
The view and location were incredible! Easy to get to the cabin through paved mountain roads and cabin is close to town. Location is in a safe neighborhood. The cabin is nice and large and we enjoyed using all the outdoor decks and hot tub. Reasons we gave 3 stars: -the blinds all throughout the back of the house’s large grand windows were very uneven. Some of the blinds were open, some half way, some closed. The blinds around the kitchen table were closed and we could not enjoy the view we paid to see when we were having our meals. I texted the company while there and they claimed the were broken. We were upset about that. -the cabin is very very hot in summer! We adjusted AC on all 3 floors and we were sweating our entire stay. There are no adjustable fans in any of the bedrooms so there was no air flow at all. If you are hot natured bring a fan! -The kitchen ice maker/water machine is still broken… make sure you buy ice in town and have bottled water or water filter pitcher. -outdoor furniture is very weathered and can used updating
The good: Awesome location, views and surroundings. Exterior of the property was great.. large decks and hot tub were exactly as advertised. House interior amenities are subpar for the daily rental price. Bedding and linens were older, kitchen utensils, cooking tools and appliances have seen better days and need to be cleaned better. Ice maker was broken in kitchen refrigerator. It’s a cool property just needs to be deep cleaned and restocked with higher quality amenities.
This space was great for my girls trip. The views are amazing!! The cabin had everything you needed so there was no need to leave. We all loved our stay at this beautiful home.
We had such a wonderful time here! The house is gorgeous and the cowboy decor is really fun. We loved the views, hot tub, decks, and pool table. It’s a great location to get to great hikes and restaurants, but be prepared to drive everywhere.
