Reserve 14-B The first thing you should do when you open the front door of this condo at The Reserve at Sugar Mountain is to head straight out to the 300 square foot covered deck to take in the expansive western-facing view. If you are out there at sunset you will be in for quite a show. Once you have soaked in the views, turn around and see what awaits you inside. Soaring ceilings, a floor-to-ceiling stacked stone gas log fireplace, gourmet kitchen with stainless appliances, and high-quality furnishings throughout. The large master suite - complete with soaking tub and walk-in shower - along with the nicely appointed guest bedroom and guest/hall bath are both located on the main level. Upstairs there's a spacious loft with a twin bed and a sleeper sofa as well as a third full bath. The condo is close to everything Sugar Mountain has to offer, but you might find it hard to leave after you've settled into all the comforts this superb property provides. What's nearby: Sugar Mountain Resort is just moments away from this condo, where you'll find an outdoor skating rink, snow tubing, mountain bike tours, and a full golf course. There are plenty of restaurants close by, including Reid's Cafe and Elevations Restaurant. Upon check in there is less than half a roll of paper towel in kitchen..i look everywhere for the back up roll and no where to be found. I call customer service which is Vacasa ask for it as it is standard for all host to give a a sufficient start up supply. They said they will reach out to the host and ask. We stay 5 days and 4 night on LESS than half of roll of paper towel and 2 kitchen trash bag. And we paid over $2100 for 4 nights. Money is not the problem. But the time and location we paid for because we dont have time go to convenient store to buy stuffs we are here on vacation. Time is very valueable. So in conclusion host'd accomadation guests arent too great at this location. I wont book this unit again.
Upon our arrival, we went through the unit and first looked at the beds, which is what we always do when checking into a rental (apartment or hotel room). When we pulled down the covers on one of the beds we immediately noticed two large dark stains in the middle of the fitted sheet. They were very obvious and would be hard to miss. They should have been replaced before we got there. Instead, we ended up washing the sheets ourselves. In the living room and the loft areas the couches were dirty with food between and under the cushions which we noticed when we sat down. When we lifted the cushions to look under them, the couch was very dirty with food, debris, and even a used foot warmer from a previous guest. We searched the Airbnb site for bookings that were available for only one night. Two listings came up. We chose the listing we liked best and booked it. We filled out all the paperwork and additional paperwork as was sent to us during the week before our trip. The day before we were to check in, they contacted us and said the unit wasn't available for only one night. It clearly was because it came up in our search and we were allowed to book for one night. However, we agreed to switch to a different unit and proceeded to do all the paperwork for the one. Communication was fine for the most part although check out procedures weren't left for us in the unit, nor were they included in any of our emailed communications. We checked out fairly early and when we tried to contact someone to get information on what was required of us for check out, we couldn't reach a person, only a voice mail box. We stayed for one night. It cost around $400, which we were willing to pay. Unfortunately, with all the above mentioned issues, it was absolutely NOT worth that price.
Great place. very close to everything and great views. if you come up in the winter you definitely will want something with 4 wheel drive.
