The area around the house is well served by public transport. Often the easiest way to get into the old town of Cascais is not by car but by bus.
The bus service runs regularly throughout the day, to the center of Cascais and around the Cascais area with it's main stop at the Cascais train station. The closest bus stop for Cascais is the M27 which is a circular bus. There is also the MO2, M03 & M05 routes which you will find in our house manual. The M15 bus will get you to Guincho.
From the Cascais station (terminal) you can get a train to Lisbon in 30 minutes along the beautiful coast line, or a bus to the World Heritage Site of Sintra. If you wish to visit places further afield, please ask us about our day excursions.
The M03 bus will take you to Cascaishopping where there are shops, a food court, hairdressers, technical help center etc.
From Cascais there is a regular bus service to Guincho Beach, M15. You can get bus to Sintra from the Cascais terminus daily each 60 mins approx.
The train service runs from 5am until 1:30am and the trains run every 20minutes approx.
