Nestled amidst a peaceful & serene neighborhood, our home has unobstructed breathtaking views of the snow-capped mountains. Located at Majkhali ~9 hours drive from Delhi ~2 hours drive from Nainital/Bhimtal ~1-2 hours drive to hill stations like Kausani, Binsar our home is your ideal escape to purity! Our home is located at an altitude of 5500 Feet above sea level and overlooks a gorgeous forest-covered valley, and the tall Himalayan peaks of Trisul, Nandadevi & Panchchuli. (Best views between September to February). ~Property Layout~ 3 Bedroom duplex villa spreading approx. 2400 sq. ft. ~On Lower Level (Ground Floor): * Main Entrance to the property is into a cute Living Room with comfortable sitting * An adequately equipped open kitchen with a private dining area is located next to the living room * One bedroom with en-suite / attached bathroom is located on the ground floor ~On Upper Level: * Two Bedrooms with en-suite / attached bathrooms are located on the Upper level ~Amenities & Facilities~ * A 40-inch LED TV is provided in the Living room for family viewing * Highspeed Wi-Fi (100 MBPS) * Hot water is through water heaters / geysers * Ceiling fans in all rooms for summer months (air-conditioning not required) * Heaters/heat convectors in all rooms for usage in winter * Fresh clean Linen is provided at every check-in * Complementary Linen change is provided every 3rd Day if your booking is longer. * Additional / more frequent Linen changes can be provided at an additional cost of Rs.500 per room. * Toiletries like Shower Gel, Shampoo, Hand wash, and Toilet paper will be provided. The toiletries provided will be running stock (used by previous guests as well) and not as hotel toiletries. We humbly request our guests not to take the toiletries away with them. * Tea / Coffee comes with compliments from us, and guests do not need to carry the same as part of their groceries unless they want a specific tea/coffee of their choice. * Power backup is through the UPS system, which will power the lights and fans, however, heavy electronics like kitchen equipment, geysers/water heaters, room heaters, electric irons, and hair dryers cannot be used on power backup in case of a power outage ~Add Ons~ * Bonfire: We can organize an open-air bonfire at an extra cost of Rs. 1500 per use (approx. 3 hours) * Barbecue: Apparatus + Coal can be provided and is chargeable at Rs. 1000 per use ~Cooking by Caretaker / Cook~ * Our caretaker(s) can cook home-cooked food at a nominal charge of Rs. 1500 per day. Groceries are billed to guests as per actual. * Our caretaker(s) have a mountain (pahadi) style of cooking and can make both veg and non-veg meals. Their cooking style can be spicy, so please explain to them your specific taste upon arrival. ~Meals & Dining~ * Home delivery Options: 1. Stone oven Pizzas 2. ITC Welcome Heritage (7 Kms) ~Parking~ * Car goes directly to the property * We have 2 car parking space (at the parking) * Guests will need to walk a ramp to go upto the cottage ~Driver / Nanny / Cook / Accommodation~ * Driver accommodation is available at the property. A charge of Rs. 500 per day is applicable towards accommodation cost (no meals included). ~Laundry Service~ - We don't have a washing machine at the property. - We have tied up with a laundry person, which is available at nominal rates ~Water Conservation~ * Water is scarce in hills, and we request our guests to use water wisely. There is no water supply by the Government to the area, and we purchase water for daily consumption for our guests. We will provide adequate water that is required for a comfortable stay; however, we expect our guests to understand the situation and not waste water. * Our team will inform the guests if the water consumption is going astronomically high (e.g. consumption of 5000+ Lts in 4 days) which means water is being wasted. In such a case, the guests would be asked to pay additional consumption charges for additional water to be purchased. A rational consumption project not more than 1500 Lts. of water consumption per day (calculated pro-rata) for a 3-bedroom house and so on.
