We absolutely have to go back to African Queen. We wished we had more time there. The house is large and spacious and we spent so much time in the pool.

This is an astonishingly beautiful house and pool, and the service provided by Anne and Helen is perfect. But there is a but which is MONKEYS. They live around the house in the trees and my children and I loved watching them, but the first time we tried to eat outside about 15 of them mobbed us, which was a bit frightening. We couldn’t ever eat outside after that. If you leave a window open they all come in and poo all over the house and ransack any food or even medicine packets. As long as you don’t mind sharing with monkeys - or having windows always closed - then this is a dream house. There are also two cats which miaow very loudly as soon as it gets light, wanting you to feed them. Again, if you like cats, like we do, that is not a problem, but there is no chance of a lie in.

Our stay at African Queen was wonderful, the house is beautiful and has a lot of atmosphere . We had a lovely stay with our little boy who enjoyed the swimming pool the most. Within just a short walk we could go to a beautiful beach with a nice and relaxed beach bar/restaurant. With the tuk-tuk we where just a 10-15 minutes drive to nice (beach)restaurants. Helen and Aaron who kept the house, swimmingpool and garden neat and clean were very kind and helpful. Thank you!

Die African Queen ist wundervoll. Die Räume sind groß, gute Betten mit Moskitonetzen, das Obergeschoss ist sehr luftig und die Terrassen sind sehr gut ausgestattet. Der Pool eignet sich gut zum Schwimmen und wird täglich vom Poolboy gereinigt. Haushälterin Helen und Koch Mohammed sind sehr freundlich und diskret. Wir haben super lecker gegessen. Das Haus liegt in einer bewachten Anlage fußläufig zum Strand und dem lokalen Fisherman Restaurant. Wir haben viele Strandspaziergänge gemacht und uns mit dem Tuk-Tuk innerhalb von Diani bzw. Fahrer Peter sehr pünktlich vom und zum Flughafen fortbewegt. Host Anne ist sehr freundlich, reaktiv und hilfsbereit. Wir haben unseren Familienurlaub wirklich sehr genossen, vielen Dank für alles!
