Nice place clean with a river view from across road. Could use some updates. Beds were awful not comfortable super squeaky and noisy can’t even move without noises. Upstairs shower was leaking through the ceiling so we couldn’t use it. Water pressure was terrible if a shower was being used or a sink no other water will work on any faucet. Good thing it was only 2 of us we planned for 4 but with the water situation it would have been tough. The extra toilets were a plus and worked as they should. But like I said extra shower didn’t help when you can only take one at a time. Constantly hearing weird noises mby was the pump for well water or something but it never stopped all night. Otherwise Quiet location private community gravel road and drive, don’t expect to keep you car clean.

We can’t thank Christopher enough for sharing his place with us. It was perfect for gathering all of our family in one place with great proximity to so many things to do. It was easy to get to yet had beautiful surroundings. I will echo the comments made before that during the summer the campground next door can be noisy…. Loud music on Saturday until 10 pm and sporadic loudspeaker announcements during the day. This in no way detracted from our stay as we enjoyed campfires of our own on his beautiful property. The full kitchen had everything we needed. We loved the open great room design, but the expansive deck and property were the real gems. Christopher was friendly and anticipated so many of our questions before we even arrived. We also appreciated all of the brochures of local attractions that were provided. My family and I made some wonderful memories and would definitely choose this place again if we return to the area.

Christopher was a great host, very responsive. There was an issue with the cleaning company which didn’t allow us to check in until an hour and a half later than expected. There was also trash left behind by the prior renters that the cleaning company missed. Other than that the house was nice and as described. Our stay was a Fri and Sat night in July. At night we could clearly hear a DJ and people singing along from splash magic next door. It was pretty loud, but they did end the music by 10 pm each night, followed by about 20 mins of noise from campers returning to their spots on golf carts. We liked the music, but wanted to share as many other reviews noted it was a quiet place (I see now that those reviews were in spring and fall when splash magic is probably not as busy/happening!)
