Als gezin met twee kinderen was dit de eerste keer dat we bij een B&B verbleven. Als deze B&B de standaard zou zijn voor alle B&B's, dan zouden we nooit meer een hotel of huisje boeken. Wat een verrijking. Een prachtige, rustige locatie met een beperkt aantal appartementen, een heerlijk zwembad en culinaire verrassingen zorgen voor een uitstekend verblijf. Gastheer Timo pakt zijn rol als geen ander. Vanaf de eerste communicatie tot en met het vertrek zorgt hij met flair en een gezonde dosis optimisme elke dag weer voor een stralende dag. We raden dan ook met alle plezier deze B&B aan!

Great place, very quiet and relaxing. We had a great time there. Nice and clean pool. Hosts are very welcoming. Breakfasts are cooked by Timo and they are incredible. You can order dinner from the host too.

We hadden een heel leuk verblijf. De locatie is top: tussen marbella en Malaga, heel rustig gelegen, mooie tuin, mooi zwembad. Leuk dat ontbijt inbegrepen is. De studio zelf was wel iets kleiner dan verwacht, vooral de badkamer. Deze was ook op het gelijkvloers. Maar algemeen zeker een aanrader!

False advertisement of the room having pots and pans so guests can cook their own food (I have a screenshot proving this) we were very disappointed to pay an extra £200 for the kitchenette room for the week to not even be able to cook. Incredibly rude to lock the second room when we had paid for the full suite. Bed very wobbly and uncomfortable. All the pool beds were dirty on arrival,people's hair brushes lying around and pool full of sand. Upon departure we couldn't find the host to settle our pool drink bill so we messaged them to settle it via online transaction, to which Timo then accused us of trying to leave without paying. Incredibly rude and would not recommend this place to friends.

Finca Mil Estrellas is a wonderful (a bit back-country) hideaway, that is yet close to the beaches of Mijas and Torremolinos, as well as the cities of Malàga and Marbella (all reachable in 30-40 minutes or even less by car). It is embedded in a beautiful landscape and located in a village, that is offering a variety of restaurants with delicious food. The Finca itself is a cozy place with two owners, who know what hospitality is. But if I think back, it‘s even more the many moments of inner calmness that I felt, that would make me come back.
