Although away from the city lights (when was the last time you saw the Milky Way?!), there is easy access to Albuquerque, Placitas, Bernalillo, and Santa Fe. Balloon Fiesta Park is a quick 15 minute drive and Santa Fe is just up the road. Beautiful hiking minutes away. A central location to explore the wonders of the Land of Enchantment. -The updated adobe home is a completely Green house-solar powered. Typical of southwest style, the home has Saltillo tile floors and exposed adobe walls with deep window sills. -Beautiful courtyard views from the king bedroom, the living room and the kitchen dining area. -The fully equipped kitchen has all your needs from full size oven, fridge, coffee/tea, bake ware, full set of pots/pans, etc. The counters are talavera tile and the dining area has an equipaje table and chairs. -High speed internet powered by Starlink. - Spacious bedroom has a King bed, large walk in closet, large screen TV with local channels and streaming services available, and a desk/work space. - The living room has a full size futon with an upgraded coil mattress, a large screen TV with local channels and streaming services available, CDs with CD player, games, books, etc. -The separate study/work room is at the far end of the house providing a quiet space to work or get away. It has a large wrap around desk and a computer monitor with an HDMI cord attachment. -Large circular driveway accommodates RVs, long trailers for easy in and out-with plenty of trailer parking. 110v power and water available. -Cards, games, puzzles -Dog door to an enclosed dog run -Access to large private courtyard and a large pasture (dog ball throwing heaven) -Large gas grill -Local property manager on call 24/7

We stayed at this property for about a month, as my husband was having a stem cell transplant. We needed it to be within 30 minutes of the UNM cancer center, which it was. We also needed it to be clean to start with, and easily maintained, since cleanliness is of paramount importance for this procedure… the tile floor was a plus. An enormous factor for us was the spacious and well fenced property, as we were able to have our three dogs with us rather than leaving them for a month. This worked really well for us. I did bring crates to confine them when we were at the cancer center, which made me confident that the dogs would not get into mischief. The dog door was a nice touch, so that I could focus on my husband rather than on letting the dogs in and out. The dogs could spend time running off steam in the fenced pasture Other than the proximity to the railroad line, the property was totally quiet. The access road made for a pleasant and safe place to walk. Recommended!
I’m a superhost myself and Katy’s place was perfect! Great location for an outdoor lover. The home is very well kept and cozy to hang out in. I highly recommend staying here if you want to check the area out!
