Hola! Welcome to The Margarita Casita! We are located at the Water’s Edge Retreat in the peaceful mountaintop community of Tracy City, TN. This luxury waterfront tiny home features a modern rustic Spanish interior design to give you a truly one of a kind experience. We designed The Margarita Casita to use as a gathering place for our family. We would be honored to host you and your family when we are not here. Mi casita es su casita! In Spanish, the word casita means “small house”. While our house is considered a tiny house, you’d be hard pressed to say it feels very “tiny” at all. As one of the largest tiny homes at the retreat, The Margarita Casita boasts 1050 square feet of living space, soaring cathedral ceilings, & spacious rooms. This along with it's bright & airy interior, we’d say “casita” would be a better choice of words to describe the space. There’s plenty to do without ever having to leave the property. We have a “casita sized” playroom for the kids with a hand painted forest mural and play pretend camping toys. There are board games, a small library of books, smart TVs with Netflix, Hulu, & Disney+ for family movie nights. Enjoy the view from the casita’s huge deck complete with a gas grill and seating for six at the outdoor dining table. The separate balcony overlooking the lake is the perfect place for morning coffee or stargazing at night. The waterfront fire pit is always stocked with firewood for the coziest campfires. Just steps away is your own private access to our 95 acre lake. We even have a kayak, paddle board, & life jackets for guests to use while staying at the casita! You can’t call your place “The Margarita Casita" without the margaritas! We have an ice maker, bar tools, blender, margarita glasses, margarita salt & mix for you. BYOT (bring your own tequila) and you’re good to go! The area is famous for it's amazing hiking trails and waterfalls! They are all within just a couple miles of the casita. We’re also close to The Caverns and Bonnaroo if you’re in the area to catch your favorite bands. We look forward to hosting you and hope to become your “go to” amigos for getaways in the future! Hands down the best place we have stayed at from travel ball to vacation! They literally thought of everything, when it comes to your stay. Down to the smallest details of items they had for your use. Beth was a great host, with a quick response. The place was just like the pictures, the gift basket was top notch “ everything but the tequila” just like she said! Truly an amazing experience that we are still talking about! My husband and I can’t wait to return again. Want to thank you again, we really needed the time away.
Getaway Perfect little getaway to the Margarita Casita! It matched the pictures perfectly!! Getting in was a breeze and Beth was responsive and even checked on us to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed… such a wonderful host!! One of the most important things I look for is cleanliness— It was one of the cleanest places I’ve ever stayed in and we travel ALOT! The layout is roomy. Having one main bedroom and a loft with stairs instead of a ladder was a huge bonus! We really enjoyed the outside landscaping. The deck has a large table, huge umbrella (it rained for about 30 mins but we could sit outside) with plenty of chairs. The fire pit in front of the lake is where we enjoyed a fire every evening after or while fishing on the lake front. This home had everything to offer for a relaxing and perfect getaway!!
