Located just south of the Oregon-Washington border, this floating house has so much to offer in such a tiny package. With both the parking and community behind locked gates you feel a sense of security where you need it. The home comes equipped with every single item you’d hope to have in your home, as well as some cute interior touches and bright colors to make the experience all the more comfortable. The owner lives in the community and is very kind and accommodating to any need that may arise. This was a potentially once in a lifetime experience for us to stay on a floating house and we would recommend this space to anyone looking to live right on the river and get the best of both the Oregon and Washington worlds.

What a great little gem on the Columbia River. We lucked out and had incredible weather the month we stayed which was perfect for hopping in the boat and taking a sunset cruise through the house boats. David is a very conscientious host. Thank you for sharing the Pink Flamingo with us, we enjoyed the much needed escape.

This cozy floating home was simply amazing. We are a family of four and although the space is tight, we somehow made it work and we all had the time of our lives. David lives in the floating home community so if there is ever an issue with anything he is right there to help. Even all the other residents are super friendly and make you feel like part of a community at times like walking to and from the parking lot. We even came to appreciate that walk since the scenery is nothing like you’d find on land. This home does have some drawbacks though. The geese will be noisy at times, the resident beaver might decide to play under the house at night and wake you up and if you don’t come with a boat, you’ll wish you had. But all this is probably part of what made us love our stay here even more. Skip all the other boring rental options everywhere else and do yourself a favor by actually staying somewhere unique. You’ll be glad you did.

This home is exactly as advertised and better. I lived here for 2 months and loved every minute. This small floating home community is awesome, and it's so quiet you can't believe you are minutes from everything in Portland. If you love water birds (Heron, grebe, geese, duck, etc.) you will be in heaven. I even saw a river otter late one night! I've traveled the world and this was my best airbnb experience by far. Highly recommended, and the hosts are awesome and easy to communicate with.

I needed to get away for the month and a houseboat sounded like a great place to rest and recoup. The house was clean, tiny, and had nice character. David was a wonderful host and made me feel very welcome.
