I surprised my husband for his birthday with a relaxing weekend and this listing exceeded our expectations! Doug thought if everything from bathrobes/slippers for the hot tub to the delicious homemade bread upon arrival. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be coming back! I highly recommend!

Highland Cottages was the perfect place for my husband and I to unwind and reconnect. Perfect for a date night though we didn’t want to leave! We felt as if we were in our own little oasis! We loved every minute of being there. Oh yeah and check the towel rack in the bathroom it’s heated!! The details in this stay were immaculate!

This place is absolutely beautiful!! The design is awesome. Lots of special touches like the heated towel rack :) Bed and linens were so comfy. Perfect getaway. Very private!

If you are wanting to feel disconnected from your everyday life, this is your place. So peaceful and private. The hammock and hot tub elevated the experience. The bed is the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Soft and plush yet supportive. The sky lights are great at night for seeing some stars and the moon while lying in bed but you might want to pack a sleep mask if you want to sleep past sunrise. This is the perfect getaway place with your favorite person!

I’ve stayed at a few Airbnb’s….this was the nicest and most accurate description of a place including pics. Was extremely clean. Great private location. Relaxing. Doug thought of everything. Just a perfect place for a relaxing stay! I will be back! Thanks a bunch, Doug!
