Room for one or two people with its own bathroom and toilet. We are an education center in Amsterdam-East and rent out our comfortable bright rooms when we do not hold our own international schools and seminars. When you stay with us, you do not only get a comfortable, private room for an affordable price in Amsterdam, but also support a progressive institute organizing trainings on topics such as global justice, feminism, and LGBTQI liberation. IIRE is located in the lively Indischebuurt. It is 15 min walk to the train station Muiderpoort, 5 min to Javaplein bus station. From Schiphol Airport you can take the train to Amsterdam Central Station and then bus 22 to arrive at Javaplein. There are also trains to Muiderpoort from airport.

Die Unterkunft hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen! Es war alles vorhanden was man braucht und wir hatten reichlich Platz. Durch die hohen Decken fühlt sich alles sehr geräumig an, was uns gut gefallen hat. Mit der S-Bahn ist man auch in wenigen Minuten in der Innenstadt. Bacho ist sehr zuvorkommend und hat uns gleich ein gutes Gefühl gegeben, wir kommen wieder!
La comunicazione con Bacho è stata eccellente e subito di è dimostrato pronto a rispondere alle nostre esigenze. La stanza che offre è splendida e tranquilla, perfetta per due persone. L'host che ci ha accolto ci ha spiegato tutto ciò che serve sapere ed è stata gentile. La posizione è ottima: sia se si è disposti a camminare, sia se si vuol prendere il tram o bus. Bacho offre te, caffè e stroopwafel come benvenuto e noi abbiamo apprezzato. Consigliato. Grande Bacho <3
IIRE it's a great place to stay if you are looking for a community-like space, affordable, inclusive and socially sensitive. Maral and Bacho are really welcoming and nice. We booked a room w bathroom for 2 where we could rest after working for some days in Amsterdam. The energy of the place is very nice and we could feel it as a safe space. Everything was really clean, comfortable, and they provided us w coffee in the room for all days and some nice welcoming treats. They also offer the option of using the kitchen for long stays wich really makes a difference. The neighborhhod is also a great place to spend some days / weeks /months in Amsterdam since it has some vibe of its own, away from the extra turistic areas but also super well comunicated with the center. We could arrive to the main spots in 20 -25 min with the tram which is some meters away from IIRE. I totally recomend this option and I'd go back if I need to visit Amsterdam again.
Met all our expectations: perfect location, quiet building, clean room, and unexpected in-room treats! We love the mission of IIRE!
