SWIM
Manyana Beach
A quick stroll down to the beach. You can always find a place for your towel at Manyana Beach. A great beach for a swim or surf, or just a nice walk.
Green Island
A nice walk south along Manyana Beach will lead you to Green Island. Crystal clear waters lead to great snorkeling around the island. The shallow waters south of Green Island can be good for children.
Inyadda Beach
A very quiet swimming beach and popular surf beach. If you are lucky in the winter, you may spot whales migrating North.
Bendalong Beaches
Near the boat ramp, is a fantastic spot for children, with clear protected water and play equipment nearby. Be sure to stop by in the afternoon and see the stingrays come in for a feed. Slightly North of Washerwomans bay, is Washerwomans beach, which is great for a swim and a bbq, using the council provided facilities. Further North again is another great beach, Dee Beach, which is accessed via a set of stairs.
THINGS TO DO/SEE
Bushwalking
Some excellent bushwalking can be enjoyed in the National Parks in the area. Many of these walks are detailed in the book ‘Bushwalking in the Shoalhaven area”, which can be found in the library in the bunk bedroom.
Fishing
Some great boat fishing can be had in Bendalong Bay and in outside waters from Sussex Inlet to Ulladulla. Lake Conjola, Burrill Lake, St Georges Basin and Jervis Bay are all excellent boating and fishing playgrounds. Beach fishing can be enjoyed up and down the coast from Manyana, while experienced rock fishes have many options when the seas are suitable.
Ten Pin Bowling
Good Family fun can be had at the Dunn and Lewis Bolwing Centre at Ulladulla, next to Bunnings.
Golfing
Play the Hilltop course at Mollymook which is considered to be one of the finest courses in NSW, or you can try the less testing course at Mollymook Beach.
Theatre
Keep an eye out for upcoming concerts at the Milton Theatre (Princes Hwy, Milton). Fantastic local and International acts appear at this historic venue.
Movies
Ulladulla has a cinema complex for the latest film releases.
Historic Milton Township.
Browse through the many interesting and eclectic stores in Milton. You will find shops full of antiques, homewares, clothing, surfwear and gifts, in a delightful historic village.
Relaxation
The pace slows a little in this beautiful part of the South Coast. Take the time to wander along beaches, explore country roads, lanes, and bush tracks. Visit the excellent local wineries.

Brown Sugar
If you are a coffee lover then Brown Sugar is the pick. A lovely café open for breakfast and lunches, serving great coffee from the guys at DrumRoll Coffee Roasters.

This famous vegetarian restaurant on the main street is very popular! Breakfast at pilgrims is a winner – the pancakes and juices are exceptional! Mexican dinners (Fridays and Saturdays) are also fantastic.

Cupitts Winery
Cupitt’s Winery is a standout experience. Enjoy the views to the Budawang ranges and Burrill lake while tasting boutique wines and amazing foods from the provincial restaurant. If you eat nothing else, make sure you order a dessert!! There is often music on Sundays from lunch, and occasional growers markets on Sundays. A great spot all year round.
