Just 9 minutes from La Punta, 12 minutes from Zicatela Beach & 20 minutes from the airport. LIVING ROOM AREA: Villa de las Rocas offers over 5000 sqft of living space, providing ample room for large groups and families. The unique architecture of the villa is constructed in a way that takes advantage of its natural surroundings. The central open-air palapa, for instance, is littered with natural treasures created by the owner and is perfect for large family gatherings/dinners with uninterrupted pool and ocean views, and also contains a half bath, washer/dryer, and fully stocked kitchen. The living area is also a great space for morning yoga to the sounds of the ocean! The second-level lounge provides an oversized double chaise with a sofa for relaxing away from the hustle and bustle, as well as a great spot for whale watching (August-October is prime)! BEDROOMS: Unlike most properties, Villa de las Rocas features 4 full ocean view bedrooms with on suite bathrooms (hot water in the showers) and parotta wood closets, each just steps to the pool and the beach. Bedrooms 5 & 6 are located in the garden with an en suite full bathroom for those looking for a more peaceful room and a great space to retire from the festivities of the house. OUTDOOR SPACE: The outdoor space is just as impressive as the indoor space. The 16x9 meter pool has two shallow 8x8m attachments that are perfect for lounge chairs, drinks in the sun, and entertaining little ones (And pool volleyball!). If guests get too hot, they can cool off under the massive magnificent silver palm or the poolside palapa with an oversized double lounge for shade. Their resident iguana basking in the sun on the rocks adds to the charm of the villa. Don't forget to take your group down to the beach for a sunset happy hour on what feels like your own private strip of beach and ask the host about a sunset picnic on the lawn (See photos). Also, if you are looking for a relaxing stay-at-home day, ask the hosts ahead of time about setting up private yoga sessions on the beach or private massage sessions right on the property. SURROUNDING AREA: If you are looking for some excitement and adventure or just worked up an appetite, take a short ride into town in La Punta or Zicatela to dine at an endless possibility of restaurants on or off the beach then head to the bars to dance the night away. Or you head up to the mountains for a guided waterfall hike that is guaranteed to leave you in awe (Ask host about this). This villa has it all and you will start and end your vacation in paradise.
