Exactly like you imagine from the photos and even better furnished. It's extremely cozy and has everything you need for a memorable stay. The wood stove keeps it hot and is easy to use, and the host is amazing. He accommodated my crazy check-in and had a fire going for us when I got there, and gave great recommendations. There's some amazing local trails and you gotta ask about the creek with the rowboat to the river trail. I wish I could live here.

This is a charming space in a beautiful location. I read the instructions twice but still had a bit of trouble finding the place. Here's what I learned - SR 530 ends at Hwy 20 so if you're traveling down Hwy 20 from either direction and see the SR530 East sign, that's your turn! The little cabin itself was, for me, right out of my dreams. I loved it! All of the basics are covered. Don't let the open outhouse make you nervous. It is tucked away in the brush and tree's and is accessible only from the cabin. No other visitors have access to the area so no risk of unintentional 'visitors'. There is a cooler in the cabin but you'll need ice which can be found 8 miles away off Hwy 20 in either direction. Or - the local pub nearby in Rockport may be open and I was told you can possibly purchase ice from them. All in all, a wonderful place to stay indeed!

I had a wonderful time visiting solo. Highly recommend to anyone who needs to get away for some peace and quiet.
