From the moment the door was opened, the place reaked of chemical smell covered by too sweet overwhelming cleaning product. I had an instant migraine headache, and weird sensation in throat. My adult daughter had dizziness, difficulty breathing, and confusion. When going through house opening windows to decrease smell, one window held closed with board across it. the smell did not dissipate. When contacted Janice stated the place had been cleaned several days before and she have someone turn on whole house exhaust fan. However, this was a dangerous situation. Someone with severe reactive asthma or severe COPD could have been in respiratory distress enough to be hospitalized or worse. We left, checked into hotel and Janice did not fight the refund.

Janice was a great host! The place was clean, and it was perfect for a weekend stay.
