Live an authentic and peaceful experience in the wild ! This tiny house is made for nature lovers who want to escape tainted city life. Located on a small island in the middle of the river, you will enjoy the peace of nature far from the loud touristic centre. This place is perfect for couples who want to relax and experience a simple lifestyle in nature. You can enjoy our orchards and permaculture garden, swim in our river, go to the beach or chill in the hammock listening to the birds. Just a 10 to 15 minutes walk from the beach, it's just far enough from the noisy resorts to enjoy a quiet stay. You will stay in a 4000m2 lot surrounded by the river and nature. So you can enjoy the birds singing and the fireflies at night. Sometimes if you are lucky, you can observe some kingfishers too. In our island you will find only one other kubo and our main guest house. So you have plenty of space to enjoy your privacy. You can experience our natural air con: a perfect combination of the fresh air from the river and the canopy. You will be sharing the island with us, Bibe and Sam, a Filipina/French couple who lives there. We are trying to live a sustainable life here and we want to share it with you. You will have your own private restroom. You can use our common kitchen if you want to cook your food (extra fees for gaz). We can provide for you a delicious breakfast cooked with love (extra fees) or lunch, or dinner. We want to offer you the opportunity to enjoy a natural experience and share time with us. We will host you as family. So you can expect a genuinely inspiring and relaxing experience with the basics.

The place has a very private feel. Away from the crowd and the noise. As to Sam and Bibe, they were very proactive to address your needs or concern. they were friendly and helpful. thank you for letting us stay for a night. it was peaceful. we did relax. :)

If you want a private place in nature, that is comfortable and homey, then this is definitely it. Such a simple, quiet, and peaceful place. The hosts were very responsive and proactive too. Will definitely book this place again.
We had an amazing time chilling in this cozy little kubo! Sam and his buddy were absolute champs helping us lug our stuff from the car to the kubo. We got the R&R we were craving and soaked up some serious beach vibes. Despite the karaoke serenade from the neighboring resort, we slept like logs in our little haven – those walls are karaoke-proof, I tell you! The place has this cool mix of rustic charm with the river, trees, and critters running around, but also keeps it modern with CCTV and super-speedy WiFi! We were bummed we couldn't hang out with Sam and Bibe, but we appreciate them giving us space and letting us be. We hope to come back soon! P.S. Belated Happy Birthday, Sam!
We loved our stay in the Riverback Sanctuary! The place is huge and really spearated from the other accomodations. We really loved the privacy we had especially our own backyard. The common terrace's view is priceless. It was our first time in Liwa and we never really had any idea about Riverside Liwa, so it's just a great surprise that we are able to discover the other beautiful side of Liwa. Sam and Bibe were very accomodating and nice. We did not have any problem with the accomodation and facilities. We will definitely come back when we need to unwind and clear our mind. Probably some notes: Think twice about the bringing in food, you can use their fridge but otherwise you have to leave it outside the porch and really pack it to be safe from flies and ants during the wee hours. They allowed us to bring our dog but their dogs were very territorial but very nice to human guests, nothing bad happened. Just a note.

Liwa is a very famous surf spot not far from Manila. You can find many places to eat, take out food, party places. We are only 5 minutes walk from the busy center of liwa. But far enough to enjoy a quiet stay.
You can do everything by walk, go to the beach, buying food, restaurant, etc.
The beach is 10 to 15 minutes walk.
Restaurants and shops 10 minutes walk.
Waterfalls 15mn drive.
If you want to go to the market you will need your own transportation (10mn) or you can ask a tricycle driver.
