Nice house and great view and I'm thinking of repeating the visit

The dreamiest of Airbnb's with just a few steps from the patio to the beach of Lake Rotorua, black swans and all. Absolute bliss to sit on the patio enjoying the sunrise/sunset, and even the inside had the old school wooden charm of a proper getaway cabin whilst being very spacious. A bit chilly inside this time of year, but space heaters and fireplace were easily available. Loved every minute.

Great location in terms of its views of the lake and the front lawn is great for family activities with the setting sun. It is a reasonable distance out of the main centre of Rotorua (but that is balanced with the proximity to the lake) The house has good beds and linen and good basic kitchen facilities and a great fire. The only issue we had (and it’s not related to that house per se) is the area has a lot of small flying insects which are harmless but means you need to shut all the doors and windows after dark. Apart from that, a good place.
