If you are searching for a place to stay in the Netherlands, you can stop now. This is it. It’s less than an hour away from Amsterdam, and right around Haarlem’s centre. The view to the Spaarne river and how quiet the city is, is just incredible. The photos and descriptions of this airbnb don’t do justice. I can assure you it’s much better. The house is big enough to fit five people comfortably, and it’s so beautiful that we were constantly tempted to just stay and hang out there, enjoying the view of the river at the front, or the Church of St. Bavokerk that can be seen from the kitchen; or go to the terrace if it’s sunny. I can’t recommend this enough!

We had a fantastic week-long stay in Haarlem and felt right at home in Mariuccia & Manno’s place. The house itself is gorgeous and we especially loved the view out of the windows of the boats going by on the Spaarne. When the sun shone, there was no better place in Haarlem than being up on the rooftop terrace, with stunning views to take in. Thank you Mariuccia & Manno for being such lovely hosts!

We had a wonderful stay in Haarlem. We were met on arrival by Mariuccia and she showed us around the house personally. House was perfect for our 3 teenage daughters and us. We all had space and comfortable, quiet sleeping areas. Highly recommended.

Location. Location. Location. Situated right next to Tyler's museum. This home is a gem. An amazing view from the rooftop and front windows. The owner is great and even left us with some tulips (typical Dutch) on the kitchen table. The proximity to the rest of town is very convenient...close to many restaurants and St. Bavo Cathedral and museums. it's great to feel like a local in the morning and watch the boats and people go by. Definitely recommend this wonderful home.

This is a great house and Menno is the perfect gent. My family stayed here for a week while we got married in Haarlem. The house met all our needs and there was plenty of space, in a great location. On a sunny day the roof terrace is amazing and was well used. We cant recommend highly enough and we are likely to book again in the future.
