While the host was extremely kind and responsive, the unit was not as advertised and did not meet expectations. There were dirty bath linen left from the previous guest as well as a terrible mice problem. We actually checked out early due to the overwhelming amount of mice seen running through the apartment. I would assume they came from the garage door that did not close all the way and maybe were attracted to the half eaten fast food that remained on the garage floor. The listing did not mention that the “entire home” is actually a row house turned duplex. So essentially the apartment was private but the driveway, hallway, and laundry room are shared spaces. Makes it awkward if both parties are coming/going at the same time. Also the walls are thin and seem like you can hear downstairs neighbors as well as next door neighbors who apparently enjoy late night music. This normally would be ok for me on vacation but I had two small children with me who get cranky around bedtime.

The place was just as in the description. The host communicated with us during our stay and made us feel welcome

Place was exactly as described. I'm born & raised in Manhattan so I expect a lil noise from busy streets. Nothing overwhelming. Great location. Food & shops are walking distance. I loved that the master bedroom has its own full bathroom. Great size place. Josh was very responsive from the beginning. Even before I actually booked. Josh also honored my early arrival considering I drove in from 5hrs away. I really appreciated that. Overall I loved the stay & will certainly book again.
