Grocery stores, convenience stores, restaurants, public transportation, and all you need is within a 5-minute walk. * Walking distance from UPENN and Drexel campus * Short ride to the downtown area. This cozy apartment is located on the first floor, and there are a few steps in front of the building entrance. There is a full-size bed and it will work well for up to 2 guests. 1-minute walk to bus #30. 2-minute walk to bus #21. 5-minute walk to bus #42. 7-minute walk to 40th Street Subway Station (Market-Frankford Line). Easy public transportation to many popular sites and areas, including 30th Street Station, City Hall, Convention Center, Independence Hall, old city, and many others!

This place was functional & convenient, but not somewhere I wanted to spend much time. Two actual issues: The air conditioning unit was caked with dust/grime, as was the curtain in front of it - my stay was in April though, so that may not be a problem for guests staying later in the season when the A/C is in use more often. The bathroom did not match the photos bc there's no sink; I don't really care about the sink, but I did not like feeling misled by the listing. Good stuff: heat worked great, bed & pillows comfy, "kitchen" had all needed utensils, v useful shelf w hooks & hangers, clean other than the A/C unit.
Home with strict rules as far as no smoking, and keeping the studio clean but when I walked in I was immediately met with smells of old smoke. Ashes on the window sill and near the bed. The bedding had hair, stains, and spots throughout. Pretty sure sheets were not cleaned. I had to purchase pillow cases from Amazon to feel comfortable. Pillows also heavily stained… Bathroom floor had pee drips near the toilet. Kitchen sink with trash in it. Overall a VERY dirty place, especially for the price paid. Would NOT recommend this place to anyone, and only stayed there because I was in town for work and didn’t have any other options. Overpriced and dirty/smelly. BEWARE
Do not rent this studio unless you don't care about the quality of housing are just looking for the cheapest deal. The house and unit reeked of cigarettes. There was no toilet paper when I arrived (and the hosts told me I had to buy some myself), and there was no sink in the bathroom. The only sink was the one in the kitchenette, which meant I had to wash my hand, brush my teeth, and wash dishes all in the same sink. The room barely had enough room to walk around in. The walls are also very thin, so I could hear the other unit. The other airbnb renter in the building was being very loud and smoking inside, and then threatened me with violence after I complained. The hosts did nothing about it. Do not rent here!!
