We absolutely fell in love with Rich & Kim, as well as their lovely place! We had a relaxing and peaceful weekend in the country just taking in the beautiful views and the fresh air. Would so love to be back!

We rounded the back of the house and found two horses staring at us from the back fence. And that was it. I was in love with Gaelhurst. Kim went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, offered us local suggestions (Bluemont Winery was fabulous), and responded promptly to all questions. We spent most of our time sitting on the deck or in the two Adirondack chairs perfectly situated in the backyard to take in the amazing views. Our stay exceeded our expectations and gave us some much needed space to just pause, refresh and unwind. As my husband commented, “I feel like I can breathe out here.” My sentiments exactly. Such a special place.

This is the second time we have been to Gaelhurst, and it was such a pleasure to stay with Rich and Kim again. They are wonderfully warm, friendly, and communicative hosts, and the apartment was just as cozy and inviting as it had been the first time. This location is so beautiful and restful, and perfect for anyone wanting to explore local wineries, breweries, and history. We can’t wait to go back again!
