Horrible experience with the check-in. First, the Airbnb listing advertised self check-in, but it in fact relied on someone being there to hand over the keys. This was not made clear until I actually arrived at the premise, at which point I had to wait 1 hour for the host to arrive. Then someone (who is not the host) arrived, but he could not open the house door as there was a problem with the lock. He then went around waking up neighbors in the middle of the night and trying to pry open the door together. The whole ordeal took 2+ hours until I was able to access the unit. I then had to stay 2 nights there constantly fearing similar lockouts - not the greatest thing when you are traveling! The saving grace was clear, prompt communication from the host's daughter. Interestingly, the host locks all rooms except the one you are staying in and only gives you one towel (probably based on guests count) - which could be a problem for you if you take more than 1 showers during your stay
