The Pearl of Parlee is nestled within the community commonly referred to as Pointe-du-Chêne. Pointe-du-Chêne is home to the well sought-after Parlee Beach Provincial Park and is also home to the Pointe-du-Chêne Warf. As a guest at the Pearl of Parlee, you are within walking distance to both of these desired attractions!
Parlee Beach gifts visitors with soft, white sand and the warmest salt water in Canada, making this provincial park a must-see during your stay! The park is home to Euston Park, an outdoor patio restaurant that offers a taste of New Brunswick through food offerings and local craft beer. Other amenities offered include washrooms and showers, a canteen, a gift shop, a playground, lifeguard patrol and beach volleyball courts!
The warf is also a great spot to explore and spend a day! You can rent paddle boards and electric scooters, jump off the warf into the ocean, hop on a Shediac Bay cruise or indulge in delicious seafood from the Sandbar or Captain Dan’s. End your day with a treat from the ice cream shop and enjoy some of Eastern Canada’s most beautiful sunsets!
Downtown Shediac is a quick 5 minute drive from the Pearl of Parlee. There, you can find Pascal Poirier Park that offers a variety of activities and events including a splash pad and an outdoor market on Sundays! Make sure to visit Shediac’s famous lobster sculpture, the largest in the world!
Walking and biking: Shediac offers more than 12 kms of walking and biking trails. The northeastern section of trails links downtown Shediac with neighbouring Pointe-du-Chêne and Parlee Beach Provincial Park.
Nearby city: The city of Moncton is a quick 20 minute highway drive where you can find lots of shopping (Champlain Mall or outlet shopping at Trinity Drive), restaurants and breweries! While in Moncton, take a drive to Magnetic Hill and visit the animals at the Magnetic Hill Zoo or spend a day at Atlantic Canada’s largest waterpark, Magic Mountain! If seeking relaxation, book a massage at Usva Nordic Spa and stop by Magnetic Hill Winery for a tasting.
