We loved the time we spent at Samamtha's place! It was beautifully decorated and extremely clean. The kitchen had the items we needed. Coffee, tea and snacks were provided. The bed was comfortable, and there was plenty of closet storage and drawers. There were beach chairs amd beach towels to use. The views from the balcony and rooftop deck were of the intracoastal waterway, and just lovely! It is conveniently located to areas of interest. We highly recommend this rental! The Beach Shack was exactly what we were looking for! Samantha was super helpful with our questions. The house was clean and comfortable in a gorgeous spot overlooking the water + close to downtown Jensen.
The place was beautiful, relaxing and a great location! Would go back over and over. Have to drive to the beach but so worth it
Fantastic place to stay! Gorgeous view of the water and just a short walk to the pool. Super relaxing vacation! The house was brand new—super clean furniture, towels, linens, bathroom and kitchen! Would definitely recommend to friends & family! Was generous with amount of garbage bags, toilet paper, paper towels and soaps. Made it super easy to just walk in and feel right at home!
Fantastic place! The home is beautifully decorated and sparkling clean. Clearly brand new. Right on the water so sitting on the balcony at night was the best, great amenities with the pool. Host was excellent communicator and very accommodating, everything is as advertised. Could drive to downtown Jensen Beach in like 3 minutes and the beaches not much further away so location was great too. Only thing I’d recommend is add some furniture for the roof deck so you can sit up there. We had a wonderful time and would 100% stay here again!

Jensen Beach is a very friendly town, safe, with live music in many of the restaurants and patio eateries. It has an old Florida feel and surf vibe located off of Indian River Drive. This city had a thriving pineapple industry in the late 1800s to about 1913. John Lawrence Jensen, the pineapple farmer who helped settle the land is who the city is named after.
The beaches are expansive, natural and clean. It is a short 90 minute drive from Fort Lauderdale airport or 50 min from the West Palm Beach airport.
Walking distance is 14 min to downtown where there are many eateries, a Publix grocery store, a liquor store & coastal shops.
Catch Jammin’ Jenson every Thursday night where many local artists and vendors display and sell their goods. Roads are closed to cars for this for fun and safety.
The many beaches of Hutchinson Island are an 8 minute drive connected by a beautiful causeway bridge. You can walk this bridge or rent bicycles to travel around and take in the sites of the many beaches. Beautiful lush vegetation and architecture from many years ago line many of the neighbourhoods in Jensen Beach. Driving the Indian River Drive shows us old Florida, natural and uncommercialized.

There are taxis, Uber and Lyft available. You can easily walk to downtown Jensen Beach where the Publix grocery store is located. Bicycle rentals are also nearby. It is a safe neighbourhood and parking is normally free on the streets.

We have been landlords of various Canadian ( in Ontario) and US properties the last 19 years.( in Key west, Cape Coral, Vero Beach and now Jensen Beach). We love the sunshine and detest snowy cold weather. We respond quickly to tenants needs and like to run a smooth small operation. We love to travel, bike, surf, non smokers and laugh lots . Chris is a retired firefighter and I am employed with a Canadian major bank as a retirement and investment planner. We have an adorable shitzhu named Muffin who does not travel with us often. We have one amazing daughter who is now 26. She is a talented young lady who graduated with a journalism degree and completed her Masters in Communications in 2019. We are grateful for all we have and have learned in our journey together.
