Children will love the imaginative playground and interactive trail at historic Boscoble House (4.5 miles), where Charles I took refuge in 1651. Dogs on leads are welcome in the grounds, which include a delightful 17th-century garden, a tearoom and Victorian farmyard, complete with animals. Spend a great day out in Ironbridge, visiting the famous bridge spanning the River Severn, a range of fascinating museums and interactive displays.
